When they come down from the mountain their musician mates Luke R Davies and Helen Begley will be waiting to join them with guitars at the ready and a swag of songs for “The Ashes Tour”.

Helen has teamed up with actress and singer, Penny Larkins, to present a cycle of original songs called The Good Girl: A Song Project.Set in the 1830's and based on the work of Liz Rushen, the songs follow the ship board adventures of a group of young women who become part of the London Emmigration Scheme's call for single, young women seeking employment and a better life to sail, free of charge, to Australia from England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.  The pair are currently presenting the songs at folk festivals around the country. There are plans to make a CD in 2017. It is their dream to present the piece on tall ships across Australia and possibly the world!
